Here is the bio for Von Below, quoted from Anton Joachimsthaler's "The Last Days Of Hitler"
Nicolaus Von Below, born 20 September 1907 in Jargelin near Greifswald (Pomerania). Trained as pilot in 1929 at German Commercial Pilot School. Service with 12th Infantry Regiment 1929-33, promoted to Leutnant.Jagdgeschwader 'Richthofen' in Doberitz 1933-36. From 5 March 1936 with JG 26 in Dusseldorf. From 16 June 1936 Adjutant of Luftwaffe to Hitler. Arrested early 1946 by British, held until 14 May 1948. Died Detmold 24 July 1983 aged 75.
This book was first printed in 1995, so if he died in 1997, obviously it would say he is still alive.
Thank you, wenty.

Re:
I don't believe these officers had much to do with advising Hitler with regard to ordnance (ammunition, etc.). Their title of "Ordonnanzoffizier" may translate better as aide-de-camp or something similar. (I am sure most of the people on the board already know this, so I apologize if it is inappropriate to post something that is not exactly original.)AHLF wrote:As for the staff:SS Obersturmfuhrer Ludwig Bahls -- Hitler's Ordanance Officer 1937-1938 Died 1939

Re:
Anni Winter was the housekeeper (staff manager) at Hitler's Munich apartment at 16 Prinzregentenplatz. She was apparently somewhat of a martinet, and the rest of the house staff didn't like her.Colbro wrote:In his will, Hitler makes reference to his personal staff/servants and mentions "Frau Winter etc.."
Who was Frau Winter? I see no mention of her in the lists so far.
