Anybody know anything about Du Moulin Eckart?

Does anybody know anything about Karl graf Du Moulin Eckart? All I have on him was that he was an SA officer (but no exact rank), that he was of mixed French and German parentage, that he was an intimate of Röhm's, and that after the Blood Purge he was sent to Dachau. Does anybody know:

— His exact rank?

— His political convictions?

— Was he ever married, did he have children?

— His ultimate fate?

— His shoe size or anything else for that matter?

In the "Notes" section of David Irving's "Goering" is the following:

"Leon Graf du Moulin-Eckart, doctor at law, was chief of the Nazi Party's information service in the Brown House in 1932, and Roehm's adjutant. Born Jan. 11, 1900; indicted for procuring and for unnatural sexual intercourse on Oct. 21, 1934, having provided his apartment to Roehm for homosexual activities; acquitted."

Name is given as Carl Graf du Moulin-Eckart in Prof. Bruce Campbell's "The SA Generals and the Rise of Nazism". Heinz Hoehne gives his full first name as "Leonhardt" in "The Order of the Death's Head".

Best wishes,

My father knew him, they worked together in the bookroom at the Concentration Kamp. If I remember right my father said he was born in a town called Bertolzheim, not far from Nuernberg. When I was a child my father took me one day to visit him. I remember he had a finger missing. My father was an artist painter, and I think this man helped him sell pictures and get referrals to restore paintings.
