He is listed in Patzwall's book. But do you know his Blood Order number from the documents you have?

Your trying to discover the recipient of the BO to see if his party number matches your GPB. So I assume you don't know the GPB recipient either. If the BO is a first model (first 1500) then it's a piece of cake. Have a researcher look up the party card of the recipient found in many lists for the party number. If it is a second issue (1501 to 4000+), good luck. Few number/recipient combos are known. And I would think the odds are that the BO was not a GPB recipient. Best bet is find the GPB recipient using McDivitt research and check if that recipients party card indicates a BO.

Hi,
Doing some research I have found in the SS DAL 1937 an officer who received the Blood Order but can't find his name in a list.
Hauptsturmführer Ludwig Schrettenbrunner. Party n° 246, SS n° 40581. He was born in 1898. Thanks for your help

Regards

Christophe
