took place, in fact a double wedding. Two young girls braved almost certaiin death to forge their way through the ruins, the bombing and the gunfire, to reach the bunker where their fiances were on guard duty. They wished to be married hastily, before the end. As it was no longer possible to get hold of another registrar, Dr. Werner Naumann, Secretary of State, as a qualified lawyer, performed the ceremony. In prevailing circumstances such marriages were deemed legally binding. A few hours before the break-out, after the death of Hitler and Goebbels, the last wedding of all took place, performed by Erich Kempka, as the bridegroom/s superior officer. The bride, who had been severaly wounded, lay on a stretch and was given pain-killing drugs during the ceremony.
Its not known if any of these three bridal pairs vurvied the end in the bunker.

This book was started in 1950 and first published in 58. I wonder if "now" we might know the names of these people?
