Svetlana, I assume you don´t mind when I share the entire original caption of this image. You should use an ellipsis [...] in future to represent an omission and not change it without marking it. Thanks for your understanding
Caption with corrected typos:
Hauptwachtm[eister] d[er] Gend[armerie] Volkmann, Führer des Rayonpostens Sarig zeigt seinem Kommandeur Hptm. d[er] Gend[armerie] Grosch, die durch seine Initiative aus dem Nichts geschaffene Anlage des Rayonpostens Sarig.
Translation:
" Hauptwachtmeister of the rural police Volkmann, head of the district police office Sarig, shows his commander Hauptmann of the rural police Grosch, the through his initiative out of nowhere created site of the district police office Sarig".

More pictures to follow.
Sorry that I must repeat it, as author (AFAIK), you sure knows that it´s not legit to use quotes and hide some parts of the original without marking it (photo of the ukrainianSchutzmann with two women) respectively to change the statement like in the above picture.
The original caption is "Ein schneidiger, fescher ukrainischer Schutzmann von einem Außenposten" and not your "Ukrainischer Schutzmann von einem Außenposten".

There´s no need to use the German language if you wanted only to inform us to which unit he belongs, but in this case you made it a false evidence because it appears like this is the original caption. Because you forgot (?) to mention the change.
To me it seems that in future your posts need a 2nd look.

History1,

Thank you for providing some original captions and translating them.

Please note that the German text in my posts is the file names of the pictures on my computer (file name.jpg). My file names show up automatically when I upload photos. They are not original captions, only file names. I use parts of captions as file names for easier reference, but there are limitations on the length of file names and symbols that can be used. For example, a file name cannot contain an ellipsis.

When I translate German texts with Google Translator, the results are often clumsy and some words do not translate correctly. I can figure out the original meaning but I am not fluent enough in German to translate it exactly. In the future, I could copy and paste the original German captions so others could translate them by themselves.

Roman,

Thank you for your kind offer to translate. That would help a lot! From now on I will include German captions in my posts, and your translations would be very much appreciated.
