How was liquor rationed?

Postby Rivet on 20 Jun 2012 02:17

I know this may seem like an odd question. However, I've read of various liquors being traded (presumably on the black market) during the war years.

Was hard liquor (gin, rum, etc.) rationed? Were there stamps/cards like food and other consumer products? Anyway, just curious. Thanks. :)
