Stalag VI D

I received an email from am an Italian archivist whose father was a member of Italian police, as Carabiniere, during WWII and was captured September 10, 1943 and deported to the POW camp of Hagen, Stalag VI D, Germany. Here he became number 110656 and was forced to work for Schmiedag AG, Beyrsmann division in the Arbeitskommando Nr. 49.
He's asked me if I have any pictures of Hagen available, its POW camp or any information about about Schmiedag AG in those years. I've searched through the forum with no luck; can anyone provide any assistance or suggestions as to where to find out more?

Cheers
