Business and work in the Third Reich?

This is much debated about it today's politics due to the fact that no mainstream political movement wants to be on the political spectrum with Hitler and comparing your opponents to Hitler has become a fairly common tactic of slander.

So where is the Third Reich on the economic spectrum? What was is like to run a business or be an employee? The Right wing of today claim Hitler was a Socialist and the Left Wing of today claim he was Socialist in name only and was a capitalist.

Now putting political bias aside what are the facts? I would argue if you implemented the Third Reich's economic policy in today's world people would consider you a socialist, Is it fair to say the Third Reich was a mix? Left-Wing/collective in an economic sense but far Right in a Military and Ideological sense?

What was it like for big business like Mercedes, BMW, and Krupp ect how did they have to adapt to NSDAP policy?

Please share your thoughts

This is a questionable assumption, because the socialists/capitalists of 1934 are not the socialists/capitalists of 2014 .There is a difference of 80 years .
