Tires on Kubelwagen

An odd question, but answer needed for a project---did the Kubelwagen use inflated tires or some other kind of tire?

The standard tire was a normal 5.25X16 size.
For use in Afrika, they used an oversized sand style tire. I don't have the size but can find it if you need it.

Thanks...but did the tire have an inner tube? Need to know whether it could go flat from a puncture.

Virtually all tires of the period were tubed (tubeless tires didn't exist then)so yes flats were common,and hated by anyone (me included :roll: )who had to change them.
