Hi Bert:

Exactly so, one of those very rare Volvo Taxi/Limousine variants. Wish I could find one to buy today.
BTW, this was my first attempt with my new Photo Editing Program to play with a photo and I brushed out the Volvo "I Roll" logo. But............you figured it out anyway :D
Edit: I forgot to mention this one is/was in Finnish Army Service
Over to you

Cheers

Bill

Gotta love ya Markus. The word "expurgated" does not appear in either my English/Swedish Dictionary or my English/Finnish Dictionary. Quite the linguist you are.

Probably an incorrect answer as I have just finished my third glass of excellent Wine, but maybe an Opel Autobahn bus with coachwork by Ludewig.

Cheers

Hi Bill,

An Autobahn bus it is but not an Opel: This one has a more pointed grille emblem in the unsmudged original shot.

Markus, is it, and here I'm assuming by expuragted you mean cleaned of its maker's marque, a Mercedes-Benz LO 3750 ?

Hi Alan,

A Mercedes-Benz it is. Rather muddy but quite possibly a Lo 3750, looks very similar to the one at http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5314/584 ... c0a2_z.jpg

Over to you,
Markus

Hi Alan:

Nice pick on the Benz: I looked at virtually every other makers "Autobahn" busses but skipped Mercedes as I had only seen a very few photos of that body style mounted on their chassis.

Regarding your quiz photo, pretty fuzzy but may I guess an early Humber Scout Car. Can't tell if the photo is taken in Russia or in the Desert but it almost looks like a sand channel on the back of the vehicle.

Cheers

Bill, I myself though it was a Dingo at first but the wheels are far too large for that, or the Humber I'm afraid. The clip was definitely filmed in Europe.
