Re: destroyed and battle damaged AFV photos
Soviet BA 10 armoured car as photographed by a German soldier. All the photographs taken by German soldiers that I have seen of these armoured cars have had their wheels and tyres removed. So who salvaged them? The retreating Soviet Army or the Germans?

Re: destroyed and battle damaged AFV photos
Hi John,
to Your question about removing the wheels of the Russian armoured cars BA: the German maintenance technical sergeants did it, because in many motorized units was one or more captured Russian trucks type GAZ AA or AAA. They had the same wheels. So they could get additional spare wheels very easily.
Best regards
Bert

I guess you're right Raúl. I was wondering about the back plate, but now I noticed the back armor plate on the ground near the tank.tigre wrote:My guess the hull of another T-34 (may be)............

Wreck on the left is a BT series tank
Re: destroyed and battle damaged AFV photos
One more wreck, it is sometimes easy to forget how small some armoured vehicles were.
