Hi Markus:

Thanks. The India Pattern Chevs and Fords had a very distinct canvas tilt that was different from the British/Canadian/Australian vehicles. Here is a better photo of a 1940 ambulance with the full tilt. Your photo is missing the rear portion.

I will come back a bit later with a quiz photo, I have to search again for the "Holy Grail" pic. :D

Cheers

Hi Markus:

For today, let us say you have solved the quiz in a "different way".

I have to get ready for three "Old Age" Doctor appointments tomorrow and do not have the time to do a lot of research tonight so please post a new question.

Cheers

Is that the Latil Logo on them ? That would make the truck being towed a Latil M1BR I think, I haven't found the tractor yet.

Very good, Alan,

I believe that the front vehicle is a short w/b Latil GPB http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... l_gpb.html and the follower a bit bigger than a M1BR, the similar looking M2 B3D http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... m2_b3.html

We are getting too good at this so I've tried to crop a pic to make this hard but I don't have too much hope that it will last too long.
What is towing the 3,7cm Pak ?
