I'd put that down as the armoured hood on the front of the Pz III.

This is not Panzer III.

The Pz II G and J had the same sort of thing on them, no idea what it is but neither of them has that type of driver's visor on its own, so if it isn't the VK901 Pz II G with some of the fittings nmissing from beside the visor I'm stumpted !

Closer but still not VK901 ;)

Hint #2: 46 vehicles were built from 1939.

Yes Alan:

ex ebay shot and supposedly captured or used on Crete. How it got there, if that is correct, I don't know.
Very limited production type.
