Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Very good, Bill. That's close enough. It's a Ceirano 50CM of an Italian Firefighting Company. Alan, perhaps they just returned from a fire which might explain their unkempt appearance. At least we can give them the benefit of the doubt.
Bill, please proceed with the next question!Cheers,
Max

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thanks very much, Max, the 50 variant was my second choice but I could not find a proper photo.
It gets more and more interesting to find unusual vehicles. I searched for 15 minutes to see if this one had been here before and it does not seem to have been posted. The "tip" is the cammo pattern.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bill,
that could be the export version of The Russian ZiS - 6 with bumpers and a special cab. But, sorry, I cannot say, in which land they were exported. Maybe in one of the Baltic states?
Best regards
Bert

Hi Bill,
thank You very much. Here the next question: can You ID this confiscated luxury car of a high officer or general of a Fliegerkorps of the Luftwaffe?
(source of the pic: an expired ebay auction). Much luck!

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Max!
In all honesty it wasn´t such an excellent work! Only by the two further pics I could find this vehicle in the book "L´automobile sous l´uniforme" by Francois Vauvillier. But there is a better pic of this vehicle, which I will post here.
No to the next question. Who can ID this vehicle? Much luck!
Regards
