Let's try jump starting this with a new clue: This particular model was first produced in 1938 and last produced in 1948, somewhere to the east of Germany  .

Hi Max:

I would make it a Tatra 57B of most likely 1939.

Hi Bill,
1938 Nash, I think the La Fayette Series.

Is there a rule here against racing cars? If so I apologize  .

Perhaps I owe you my friends an explanation for posting a vehicle which hopefully is not too far off topic. My reasoning is that the auto racing programs of the major Axis powers were State sponsored arms of their respective propaganda efforts, in fact all German motor racing drivers were required to join NSKK as part of their contracts and in effect worked for Hühnlein.

I welcome any comments and rest assured I will return to military themed vehicles in future :milwink: .
Cheers,
Max

After giving it much thought I've concluded that my last pic was a bit too far off topic for this thread (It is a 1935 Alfa Romeo "Bimotore") so in the interest of moving the thread along smartly I'm posting another which is more in line with the theme. Thanks all for your patience.

A clue that may or may not be useful: That is Marshal Konev in a beute staff car during the liberation of Prague in May 1945.

I'd like to see this thread get back on track. I suspect some of you already know the answer but this clue showing a similar vehicle should break the logjam.

Hi Bert,
It looks like it could be a 1938 Dodge, except the cab and wheels look non-standard. Maybe a "beefed up" version of the 1,5 tonner?
