Thanks, Markus.

This one should be easy but you need to be careful:

Clue: The steel plate attached to the front bumper is not standard equipment.

Hello Pz III,
Absolutely correct! The high lift, chains on the front tires, and a little peek at the front differential indicate the 4x4 A 3000 rather than the otherwise identical 4x2 S 3000.
Your turn now.
Cheers,
Max

Ok Max. Here is one I am not sure what it is or what the unusual poles on the front are for. I have seen another partial photo of this vehicle and it has dual inline rear wheels like a Protze. I think its captured British but the cab doesn't look quite right.

photo for discussion purposes only

Hi Pz III,

could it be captured British Morris-Commercial type CDSW light recovery like on the pic with a German cab-modification? (source: "British Military Trucks of World War Two" by Les Freathy).

Regards

Bert

Hi Guys,
How can we tell it's a 6x from this pic? I was thinking more along the lines of a PU or CS 8 with a custom box cab something like this CS 8 (but better executed):

Yes Bert you are right. Here is the other partial photo I have of this vehicle showing the side and rear wheels. The cab is apparently a field conversion. Still looking for ideas on what the 2 pole on the front are.

The two poles at the front appear to be a improvised frame that would lowered and then used to anchor the vehicle into position. Note the plates that are welded on and the poles appear to go through them and to be fairly pointed. Like a trail spade for artillery except in this case used to stabilize the vehicle when putting a lot of weight on the wench.

That is the only thing that makes sense at the moment.

The STUGs are interesting because they provide a great view of Ostketten in use. I know they are not soft skin vehicles but great shots of this track type.

Another rarity and sorry for the poor photo. This is a factory photo, not in combat use.
Marque and model if you know it.

Exactly that, glushenko!!

A vehicle that Benito Mussolini used from time to time when he was not riding around in Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat luxury vehicles.

Over to you, my friend.
