Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Markus:
I am always in awe when it comes to your "tips".
Is the body builder Italian?

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
I've decided that Isnotta Isotta but it closely resembles a 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Touring Berlinetta. Is that it?

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bill and Max,
I too make it another Italian job and do believe that Max has ID'd the coachbuilder correctly with Carrozzeria Touring. Re: the more cryptic hint it referred to Touring's Superleggera (super light) construction method.
As to the car make and model I thought maybe Lancia Aprilia with Superleggera body somewhat similar to this
but especially hard to say from a hindquarters shot.
Anyhoo back to Max,
Markus

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thanks Markus,
To me it's too close to call between the two, and there may also be others out there with similar bodies by Touring. But unless someone comes up with a definitive answer in the meantime I will post a new problem later today.

Hello Bill and Markus,
It was a photo finish but Markus won by a nose! Yes, a Type 94 which is derived from the Isuzu TU10 civilian truck. Well done to both of you and Markus please carry us forward.

Yes, a typo I am sure. I also see it as a Standard 8hp as below,
