I think we can settle on a Packard, quite possibly a 1937. The photo lacks detail but I think you have it.
The car on the right is probably a 1934 Ford 3 window coupe.

Uncle, I think we may need a tip.
I speak only for myself, but I have looked at over 30 marques from 3 different countries of vehicles from 1935-1938 and I cannot find that very specific style of trunk/boot. In fact, it is very difficult to even find rear views of autos as that is the least "pretty" part of the car.
