Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Very good, uncle! A late 1938 or 1939 model, unusual to see one with a van body.
Please carry on the quiz.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Alan,
Looks like it is really 1500, if judging from the rear suspension, it is more or less visible.
The same pic in better quality:

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
I've always worked on the theory that if it had a cab and wooden cargo body then it was a 2000 and that a 2000 was just a 1500 with extra springs.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
I thought about that and ultimately decided that the bed looked more of the size of the 1,5 tonner, at least compared to this dwg. of a 2000A:
In any case I guessed correctly so let's get on with it! Both Marque and Model on this one please.Cheers,
Max

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Well, nobody seems to want to try this one so I will give it a shot.
The bead on top of the headlamp, the four louvers in the side of the motor hood and the appearance of the dashboard indicate to me a 1937 Packard 120. Photos below.

Good work, Bill.I had a feeling you would get this one in short order! Here's another view of a beautiful 1937 120 C from more or less the same angle as the original pic:
Your turn again now.Cheers,
Max

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bill,
Well, I'll cheat a bit too, for I have nothing handy for the quiz (being away from my PC )
What is it? Truck on rails.
User: Deutsche Wehrmact, unknown Eisenbahnpionier unit
Personal name: Buffel (Buffalo)
Make: Austrian.
Model: German.
Again: I don't want to be a winner.
Cheers!
