An excellent and very fast response! According to http://www3.plala.or.jp/takihome/Ambulance.html:
In 1935, the IJA developed a standard model of IJA ambulance. It was Type 94 Ambulance and it was based on Type 94 6-Wheeled Truck. It could carry 15 patients or 4 stretchers.
