Hi Bill,
That's what I thought too due to the similarities with this 2-2,5 ton L 6 from Autotypenbuch 1934 at the bottom. Another shot of the quiz lorry on top. The hood louvring is different but Adler used divided louvres in late 20's to early 30's so they are not out of the question either since according to Taschenbuch deutscher LKW-Bau the 2,5 ton L 6 was introduced 1932.
