Does anyone have any info on this train? It was present in OZAK in Feb. '44.

Weapons:
March 1940: 3x 7,5cm FK Skoda D 28, 24x MG 7/24(t)
June 1941: 2x 7,5cm FK Skoda D 28, 2x 2cm Flak 38, ?x 7,92mm MG 34
December 1943: 4x 10,5cm leFH 18M, 2x 2cm Flakvierling 38, 2x PzKpfw 38(t), ?x MG
November 1944: two Panzerjägerwagen IV with PzKpfw IV Turrets added

The infantry of the train had additional weapons (flamethrowers, grenadethrowers...), of course.

The crew (in February 1944) should have consisted of about 130~ men.

BTW was "Max" the Nickname of the Train? There was a Streckenschutzzug (railroad protection train) named 'Max', but i've never heard of that name in connection with a Panzerzug.

Hello

Anything particular mentioned about the period april, may 1940 - for the time in Denmark?

There exists pictures of Panzerzug Nr. 23 and 24 in Denmark situated in Padborg, Kolding and Esbjerg in the timeperiod april may 1940.

Hello again

This goes for Panzerzug nr. 24 "Max", right!

Both Panzerzug nr. 23 and nr. 24 was in Denmark in 1940 - anything for Panzerzug nr. 23?

I think all the pictures that i have is of Panzerzug nr. 23 - but i am not sure, and want to find out :)

PZ 23 remained in Denmark until early June 1940.

NagaSadow, could you please tell me the movements of Panzerzug 24 in Italy in July 1944 before its departure from OZAK? And, I know it's difficult, the movements of Panzerzug 73 in August?
