Bert, strictly speaking those aren't "Nebelwerfer" rockets, they are either the 28cm or 32cm Wurfkörper rockets in their firing crates.

Hi Bertran, all

I would say its the SdKfz 11/2 mittlerer Entgiftungskraftwagen , like my opinion its absolut rare to find this type on pics. Bertram, thanks for charing.

Hi,

two interesting pics of a prototype (Sd.Kfz. 165/1) with a 105mm light field howitzer 18/1 as an experimental vehicle for the development of a selfpropelled gun from the year 1942 on the shortened chassis of Pz.Kpfw. IV (source of the information: von Senger und Ettelin: "Die deutschen Panzer 1926 - 1945").

How would this work? Was it just used as a 88 transport or was this fired from vehicle? Just trying to picture if fired from the vehicle how was it positioned. If used as transport only disregard second question. Thanks

Hello Alex,
The gun was fired in place. IIRC these were mainly used for home defense rather than forward deployed, which is understandable considering their rather limited mobility.

Hi,
this is a very interesting combination of a Film- and Bildberichter (A team of cine and still photographer). Of further notice is, both memebers are using 1000mm lenses for long range photography. Further the cine photographer has a dual camera (Askania [left, back] and Arriflex [right, front]) combination mount, one (Askania) with the telephoto lens, the other (Arriflex) with a standard lens. I cannot say, what camera the still photographer is using. My guess would be a Leica with an additional "Spiegelkasten".
The two men seem to be from different branches, the cine photographer seems to be Kriegsmarine, while the still photographer is either Heer or Luftwaffe.
Here is a close up of the dual cine camera mount. It is also a combination of Arriflex (left) with standard lens and Askania (right) with a telephoto lens (arnd 200mm):
