The disadvantage in the early trail was that it took longer to get the gun into action as the tractor was in the way between it and the enemy.

its one of those soviet artillery tractors. im not sure which, it could also be used to carry around 6 fully armed infantrymen into battle using the DT gun in the front for support.

Hi Alan, Adrian and Kriegsmarine,

it´s really a Russian vehicle, type StZ 3, light artillery tractor, used for towing the light 45 mm AT gun. The German designation: leichter gepanzerter Artillerieschlepper 630 (r). I´ll post two pics of this tractor (source: Das Waffen-Arsenal, Band 6: Sowjetische Panzer by Uwe Feist).

A couple of Skodas , judging by the markings that Germany used in 1939,- the Polish Campgain. ebay.
