Re: Interesting eBay pics
As a complement to Bert's pics of the Kfz. 311 on 14 Nov here is a different Funkmastkraftwagen, a Kfz. 301 most likely based on the Mercedes-Benz Typ LG 3000 chassis.
Cheers,
Max

What makes this particular e-bay photo interesting is the 1938/39 Packard at left foreground:

Came across this excellent photo showing 2 LWS. Seller claims it was taken in Cherkassy, Ukraine.

Hitching a ride on an Adler W 61. It looks like a measuring wheel that the boy is riding. No blackout lights, civilian or non-combatant I guess.

Hi Max,
thank You very much for posting this interesting pic of an Adler truck. My question: Isn´t it the type L 6 in contrary to the type W 61, which was produced for the Wehrmacht?
Best regards
Bert

Re: Interesting eBay pics
Hi Bert,
You may be right, I'm not sure. I used Holger as my reference and while the cab of the truck looks like an L6 the bonnet, radiator and headlamp(s) look more like the W61.
