Help needed

Hello all, after studying about 1000 images on field kitchens i have found the differeces of

Hf. 11 - http://www.panzerarmee.com/?page_id=3957

Hf. 13 - http://www.panzerarmee.com/?page_id=3963

I believe to have found the differences of Hf. 12 and 14. however i can not clarify. The book Bespannte Fahrzeuge des deutschen heeres by wolfgang fisher. I believe shows a pic of a Hf.11 and not a Hf. 12 you can see the other side chamber in the shot which rules it out as a small field kitchen, therefore have no ID picture as a refference point. Have images displaying 2 different types of small field kitchen Hf. 12 and 14 - need someone who has studied field kitchens to discuss. Will take me a week to get images up for those 2 field kitchens. Anyone able to help clarify, please contact

Hi All. To sort out Hf. 12 and 14 correctly Im looking for images of small field kitchens during WWI. Has anyone come across photos of small field kitchens from that era ?? The Hf. 12 was meant to have been introduced around 1915/16. Please if you could post them on forum or PM so im able to find a positive difference between the 2 types if there is one.. (only found one which I cant confirm without world war I photos). Thanks for your help

Hi Sturm 78,

to Your pics with horse drawn wagons or carts:
pic 1: it is a Hf. 2, recognizable by the high seat of the driver
pic 2: You are right, it´s a If 9-1, a cart for the 80 mm heavy mortar 34
pic 3: it is a captured French cart "voiturette d´infanterie hippo ou auto" model 1937. In the Franch infantry regiment of 1940 each group of AT guns ( 2 pieces ) had one of these carts, used for the transport of the ammunition (288 in 24 boxes of 12 shells).

MG334 Zwilling 001.jpg
A soldier's snapshot via e-bay of a horse-drawn MG34 Zwilling. I can't read all the writing on the back of the print. The caption seems to begin 'Auf dem Marsch...' but I can't read the last word. Can anybody enlighten me please?

John.

Hi Sturm,

to the last three pics with horse drawn wagons.
First: yes, You are right, it is the anterior wagon of Beobachtunsgswagen (Af. 12)
Second: I don´t think, that it is the Nachrichtenwagen (Nf. 7), because there is a radio. So it could be a small radio wagon (Kleinfunkwagen Nf. 4).
Third: I only know, that it isn´t a standard military wagon of the Wehrmacht.
