Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hi Sturm 78,
that must be a Af. 4, a wagon for carrying the ammunition of the light field howitzers.

Bert

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hi Bert,
It is possible that you're right but it is very difficult to secure for me, since I've seen very few pictures of this wagon.
Do you have more images of this wagon?
On the other hand two other images from EBay: French Voiturette d’infanterie Mle.1937

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hi Sturm 78,
sorry for my delay. I have a lot to do now, so I´m late with my answer to Your question.
First a drawing of Af. 4, existing of two parts: Protze = limber, Hinterwagen = caisson.

Bert

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hello all.
not a horse drawn wagon but falls under the designation of one.
I have found a medical cart of which it appears of German construction when compared to Festungskabelmesskarren or Festungskabellötkarren or even the tow handle of a If. 1 or 2. Possible there's a sf. horse drawn cart type I am unaware of.
Can anyone confirm or discuss if this is German or other nationality. Thanks look forward to any comments to help further Identify its origins.

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hi Adrian,
first I think that it is of German construction and not horse drawn. I couldn´t find a special sf. (Sanitätsfahrzeug) like that. But there was a so called Trage-Zuggerät. I will post a pic (source: "Der Sanitätsdienst des Heeres 1939 - 1945" by Alex Buchner). So I assume that on Your pic is a field modification of a cart.

Hi Sturm 78,
it is a so-called "leichter Akja". Here a drawing and a pic out of the magazine "Modell Fan" 1/97: "Fahrzeuge für den Winterkrieg" by Wolfgang Fleischer.

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Any idea what this is?
I suspect it is WW1 or earlier, possibly form German South West Africa.

Hi all,
Not a WW2 item but...... I think a Austro-hungarian artillery observation wagon from WW1. Does somebody know his oficial designation?
