Hello,
Please post your Late Flak 88 gun pictures. These have the stationary base & the non folding cruxiform legs. Here's a picture to get it started.
Late Flak 88 Pictures
Re: Late Flak 88 Pictures
Hi Sam,
I had never seen pictures of a late 8.8cm Flak with a stationary base and without the typical folding cruciform legs.
The trailer was the same Sd.Ah. 202 of 8.8cm Flak36-37 or another?
There is something I do not understand: For what to make a static version of the 8.8cm Flak and then put it on a trailer to move it if there was already a mobile version?
Regards Sturm78.
PD: Sam, perhaps it would have been better to put this post in the section about Fortifications & Artillery.

Re: Late Flak 88 Pictures
Sturm78,
Due to the front lines moving back toward Germany & the need for more mobile 88 guns, they made mounts for the stationary ones. It would be a big loss to leave the stationary guns in place. I moved the post to the Fortifications & Artillery sections as you suggested.
