Hi George, hi Sturm 78,

sorry, I couldn´t answer, because I was away for a few days.
First to Your pic, George: yes, it is a captured Russian field kitchen, the type "2 KO" (Двухкотельная походная кухня), but a field modification with German wheels.

Sorry, I was interrupted.

The pics You posted 18th October, Sturm 78, are not French, but probably Belgian, in any case the last one. You can have a look on Holgers site, there is a pic of such a Belgian field kitchen.

The field kitchens on the pics You posted 20th October are Hf. 14 (große Feldküche).

Regards

Bert

Hi Sturm 78,

what an interesting pic of a fiedl kitchen. Thanks a lot for posting. That´s a captured Russian field kitchen. I think it is the so called infantry-artillery field kitchen (походная кухня пехотно-артиллерийского образца). Here a drawing of such a field kitchen.

Regards

Ummhhh, I am confusing. The big box on the front does not match, neither the two long side rails . :?

Hi Sturm 78,

sorry that I´m confusing You. The problem is, that I have no good pic of this Russian field kitchen and on the drawing the field kitchen is mounted on two carts. Decisive for me is the field boiler. And I think that it matches. Do You have another suggestion?

Regards

Bert
