French/Polish Renault wz.29 (model 1929)
Possible dual weapon turret of WIBI:

Image

Double Weapon Turret wz.29
Developed in the Design Office Armoured Wibi (Biuro Konstrukcyjne Broni Pancernej WIBI).
The project was created in 1929, the first prototype in 1930.
Turret was octagonal, guns: 37mm Puteaux cannon and Hothkiss wz.29 machine gun
were placed in opposite sides.
After practical testing the model was rejected in 1931.
It was too cramped interior and was impossible to conduct simultaneous fire from both weapons.

Double Weapon Turret wz.32
In 1932, a new model was constructed.
New yoke for the 37mm Puteaux cannon and Hothkiss wz.30 machine gun was constructed.
The yoke was made of molded armored plate 20mm thick.
It give a possibility of guiding weapons in two axes, and allowed for observation of the target with two telescopes.
Yoke with double weapons was mounted in the front oriel of the turret.
Turret have an inner diameter of 1000 mm and a height of 700 mm.
Armor thickness as the original Renault turret but weighed about 14 kg more.
The top plate was closed with hatch cover of “special construction” (?), on both hatch sides was planed to place two Gundlach reverse Periscopes and sleeves for Słupski signal Flags.
In the year of 1936. turret was considered successful project, six such towers were commissioned in Starachowice Plant (Zakłady Starachowickie ) for modernization of Renault FT TSF.
It is not know if those turrets were ever build or mounted on TSF’s.

2.
French/Polish Renault wz.32 (model 1932) ???

Image

Not sure if it is really a Renault wz.32... (maybe instead of it, a FT with T-26 suspension components)

Modified Renault M26/27 with Vickers-Armstrong 6 ton Mark E components. vel. French/Polish Renault wz.32 (model 1932)
was tested from 1932 to 1934 and then probably scrapped.

Any more photo of those two?
In particular: polish dual weapon turrets for FT TSF's and tension wheel of wz.32 montage details?

Hi all,

here a pic of a captured Polski Fiat 508/518 "Mazur". But I´m not certain that the unit and the uniforms are German because the license plate is not German (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).

Regards

Bert

This TKS is being used by the Luftwaffe as a towing vehicle for a PAK 35/36. I'd be interested in seeing more photos of such vehicles used as towing vehicles, and also frontal shots, as I can only guess that it had a German MG or none at all in this role.

This photo is very interesting. Inscription "Bez ropy" in Polish means that this tank has no fuel. White cross means that this particular 7TP was used in combat in September 1939 because white crosses were changed shortly after campaign.

This Polski Fiat 508/518 was almost certainly used previously by the 10th Motorized Cavalry Brigade commanded by (then) Colonel Stanisław Maczek. Unit was not defeated by Germans who called it "Die Schwarze Brigade". On 18th September 1939 whole unit crossed border with Hungary and handed over their weapons and equipment (including some captured German stuff) to the Hungarian Army. Later in 1939 most soldiers of the unit "disappeared" from Hungarian camps and arrived to France.

Once again Polski Fiat 508/518. Judging by rear axle wheels this one was probably equipped with radio set.
Best regards,
