Re: German trailers
Hi,
not a German trailer, but used by the Wehrmacht, developped by the company J. Rohrbacher in Vienna. An interesting pic: the trailer has lost the axle with the wheels (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).
Regards
Bert

Re: German trailers
A Luftwaffe Magirus (probably an M 50) towing what appears to be an Ah. 447 Navigations-Funkpeilanhänger and an unidentified (electrical generator?) trailer in tandem.
Cheers,

Re: German trailers
Hello, that trailer is not unidentifiable its a Motorenanwärmer 2-axle. Or in other words pre heater engine warmer. Also used and capable to heat rooms etc. I believe.

Re: German trailers
Thank you very much, fliegerhorst. Well done! I couldn't figure out what that was but your response brought me to this "Motorenanwärmer, fahrbar" on Holger's site:

Re: German trailers
Hi Sturm,
I don't notice any radio antenna mast brackets so it could also be a beacon trailer Ah. 472 or 473.

Re: German trailers
Hello all. I make the trailer above in sturms post an Ah. 470. the reason you do not see a radio mast, is that is the front half of the trailer, usually this would be found stowed on rear and the give away being the arrangement of panels (power supply etc) above the guys head in the middle indicates to me this is a Ah. 470 (this arrangement of panels differs on the ah. 471 and on the ah. 472 and 473 manual photos there appears no panels at all.
