Re: Photothread: Bus/Omnibuss
My guess is that this bus is French but I can't seem to find a match:

I don't think so because the driver's cab is on the left. I've seen Renaults and Berliets with similar "British looking" LHD buses like the one below but none match up with this.

Hi Max, hi Luftflotte2,
the first bus, Max, could be a Gräf & Stift type S 6. Here a drawing of this type out of the "Autotypenbuch. Typentafeln der Deutschen Kraftfahrzzeugindustrie 1936".
The second bus is a Citroen type 45 and the third one is a Magirus type M 25 from the year 1935.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Photothread: Bus/Omnibuss
Hello Bert,
Thank you very much. Yes it looks like it could be a Gräf & Stift type S 6, albeit in a slightly shorter version.

Thanks Luftflotte 2. Have a great weekend, Dave
Re: ► Photothread: Bus/Omnibuss
Hi Dave,
Well, you said the devil is in the details
Luftflotte is right, this is W39 bodied by Ludewig brothers in Essen.
Judging from some details, this is late production body. Like these:
Just to remind you with this popular picture I'm sure you're familiar with, at least one such late production bus was used by the Australians in Africa:
Have a nice weekend too!
