Creo que/I believe that in that era they were called "Colectivos" in Argentina.
I also research American vehicles sold to, manufactured or assembled in countries outside the US.

to the pic with the destroyed Polish bus: I think, it is not a Polski Fiat type 618, but the type 621 R: the smaller type 618 has six nuts on the wheel, the type 621 R has eight.

Thanks, Bert. You are right about that.I didn't count the wheel nuts but I thought the wheelbase and body looked too short for a 621R bus:
