Theoretically it is possible to swap disk wheels and Trilex ones but in fact it is so complex job that I'm in doubt somebody was ever bothered to do it. I mean in general, not to speak about wartime conditions.

As it happens, the only case I'm aware of was a wartime swap; From Fiat 626 Trilex wheels to 628 disks:

Hi Markus,
Indeed, talking about the Italian truck design of 40s,the 628 stands alone. But what it sports isn't a simple wheel swap, there are too many mechanical changes in it. Broadly speaking, I consider it Italian-built German truck with Fiat engine.
