Hello to all ; a little more...............................
Towing axle!
A Kfz 13 "Adler" had suffered a car accident along the highway Magdeburg, nevertheless the interesting thing is that towing axle (abschleppachse) shown here. More detail on it?

Most probably the title of these pictures, as appears in the file name, is wrong:Luftflotte2 wrote:source: ebay.de
The gondola is marked as captured Polish rolling stock incorporated in DR (Deutsche Reichsbahn/Pl.) and I have serious reasons to believe no such railcar has ever reached Africa.

Hi,
here a captured British Coles crane. I´m not sure, but I assume that it is fitted on a Thornycroft Amazon 6-tonner (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).
Regards
Bert

Hi,
here a pic of a portable Gantry Crane, manufactured in 1942 by S. Fries & Son, Frankfurt, Germany. It had a capacity of 33,000 pounds, and was used by Wehrmacht maintenance units in removing turrets and engines from heavy German tanks, also called Strabo crane.
The text to this pic: "Das Lazarett der Tigerpanzer. In einiger Entfernung von der Hauptkampflinie hat sich die Werkstatt der Tigerpanzer eingerichtet. Im Vordergrund der Kran, der dazu dient, den Turm vom Wagen abzuheben."
"The hospital of the Tiger tanks. The workshop of the Tiger tanks was established in some distance to the main line of resistance. In the foreground the crane, which is used to lift the turret from the chassis."
