Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
With its twin filler caps on the fuel tank, I guess that this is a two-stroke motorcycle? DKW NZ350,perhaps?

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
Many thanks, Lex.
Date of the photograph, by the way, is 5 - 7 July 1940; presumably those are the dates of the train journey.

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
Hi, just need confirmation: Is this a DKW, BMW or Zündapp 750?

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
Do I win a prize for finding a photograph of a licence plate with such a low number...
Not sure what the two letters are - they don't look quite like WH, but quality is low.
Any ideas for an ID of the motorcycle itself please?
John.

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
The caption on this eBay photo calls it a "Bulgarian Officer on a BMW R75". It may be a Bulgarian Officer but it's definitely not a BMW. What is it really, my best guess is an NSU maybe a 501TS?
Cheers,
Max

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
This is a circa 1936-40 Italian Bianchi, but not enough of the bike is shown to identify the model, but think a 500cc model.AlifRafikKhan wrote:Anyone knows what kind of this motorcycle used by "Hermann Göring" Division in North Africa?

Re: Motorcycles of Wehrmacht
One of the Wehrmacht's future motorcycle and sidecars... The sidecar has a BMW badge on the front. Any thoughts please on the exact model of the motorcycle?
