The german Kaelble company from Backnang produced since 1939 Europe`s biggest tracked tractor, the PR125, to a 1938 specification by Fritz Todt, a friend to the owner, Karl kaelble. Some were equipped with a dozer blade. Attached goes a photos, taken from this page:

Does anyone knows more on german Wehrmacht use of bulldozers, especially by the Army(Heer)? Or perhaps the OT?

Re: Kaelble PR125 Bulldozer
Still no leads on this subject?
Re: Kaelble PR125 Bulldozer
I am the owner of a Kaelble PR125 Bulldozer in semi operating condition. I live in Australia and until 10 years ago used it occasionally. It was very advanced for its time of manufacture_ hydraulics, segmented sprockets, master pins in tracks, etc.
I believe they were manufactured in Backnang and would be interested to visit there or any other museums that may contain relics of its history.
Look forward to any leads.

Re: Kaelble PR125 Bulldozer
I contacted this forum several years ago about the Kaelble PR125 which I own.
I have just visited the Backnang Tech museum on Kaelble and had a grfeat visit with former engineers and workers, and a drive in a Kaelble truck.
I am unsure how to post photos on the forum, but have a renewed interest in getting the PR125 going again when i get home.
If someone can tellme how to post photos i will do so, or give me an addressto send some to.
The machine is currently 'resting' but I believe would operate again.
Thanks.
