Hi,

The engine is the BMW 6 cylinder R180W, so this is a BMW built lEpkw, it has the three seat and three door equipment body fitted, and as this is a non-electrically supressed engine it cannot be a Kfz 2/2 Funkwagen, so its either a Kfz 2 Nachtrichtenwagen , a Kfz 2/1 Fernsprechwagen or a Kfz 2/40 Instandsetzungwagen, all used this body style.

cheers leonard paul

Thanks Bert & Leonard Paul,
The caption said it was a Blitz but that just didn't look right.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Kerry:

Great photo!!

My first thought when I saw it........... The famous/infamous Bonnie & Clyde "Getaway Car", which of course, did not get away.
