How many different Pz IV and other tanks are in the Syrian army? Did these ww2 tanks match up to other modern tanks?

from France, Spain and Czechoslovakia.
Lot of syrians businessmen in Normandy bocage after WW2. :)

I would doubt that but even in 1967 the pz IV were already old.

The US Marines used M-60s in the first Gulf War and those were almost 30 years old.

I found this picture from newspaper scans. I believe Herald Sun newspaper.
Unfortunately I do not have the date for this.
The man is Mal Walden, famous journalist and news reader in Gaza - 1969.
