Late April early May 1945 we have panzers from a Panzerschule and Spähpanzers from a Panzerspähschule in the area around the southern part of Jutland any ideas which schule they were coming from?

Hello Dan,

three years ago I came about a strange unit called Panzerjagd-Brigade Horstmann that was in Ladelund, just south of the Danish border, on May 7th, 1945. Could this unit be in any way connected with the vehicles you're referring to?

Unfortunately my request back then http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 4#p1616644 didn't do much to enlighten the case. The photos from the Ebay auction are no longer visible but they showed just soldiers and one or two trucks if I recall correctly, definitely no armoured vehicles.

Best regards
Torsten

Panzerschule and Spähpanzers from a Panzerspähschule
if it's about training units then what about Tubpl Putlos?

Hi

Torsten: No luck yet, still digging.

Andrzej: I have thought about it and i guess that it is them that have gone north, but no proof at all.

Hello Dan

in May 1945 was the Panzer-Grenadier-Schule in Aarhus (earlier in Krampnitz) and a Panzer-Pionier-Kompanie in Horsens (earlier in Rathenow) in Jütland - both made a Heeres-Unteroffiziers-Schule
