Mercedes Benz G4 Gelande Staff Car

I don't know if this was mentioned before but the General William Lyon Air Museum located at the Orange County Airport Santa Ana, CA. has one of three known Mercedes Benz G4 Gelande Staff cars in existence (57 were built and 49 were used as parade vehicles). This particular Mercedes was allegedly found at Berchtesgaden at the end of the war and was seen at a museum in a casino in Las Vegas before its present location. Also at the museum are a 1939 VID Tempo Galaedewagen (unique drive arrangement), as well as a Kettenkard, 2 BMW R75s and a Zundapp motorcycle as well as a variety of airplanes and other interesting vehicles. The museum is open 7 days a week.

Hi Raul,
A fascinating photo, thank you for sharing it. Here is a shot taken, presumably by the same photographer, from the same viewpoint, a split-second earlier. I love the proof that Photoshopping is not a new thing, notice how much, including the movie camera set-up, has been removed!
