Jagdpanzer 38 protection
Jagdpanzer 38 protection
Jagdpanzer 38 was well protected vehicle with sloped armor. But I would like to know the extent of their protection. If Soviet T-34-76 and T-34-76 or US M-4's 76mm can break its front armor ?

Re: Jagdpanzer 38 protection
Some information here: http://www.panzerworld.com/jagdpanzer-38
The glacis plate of the Jagdpanzer 38 was 60 mm, with a slope of 30 degrees from horizontal, giving it a relative thickness of 120 mm. On paper, this would make the armor proof from these guns then fires at horizontally. Because the armor was overmatched, however, the armor could still theoretically be penetrated, even though the heavy slope would make a ricochet more likely.
