Greetings.

Have run across [1] a generator mounted on a one-axle trailer that I have not encountered before.
"Maschinensatz mit Dieselmotor 25/30 kVA 210/380".
Anyone have further details?

[1] In KStN 1282, dated 01.02.43: Schlächterei-Kompanie (Vollkompanie und Personaleinheit)"

Cheers
Leo

hi there

I would assume that this would be this one
Maschinensatz 220 & 380 V (Drehstrom), etwa 30 kVA als Anhänger (1 achs.) fahrbar
http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... 0_kva.html
or it could be this one
Maschinensatz 110/220V, etwa 24 kW als Anhänger (1-achs.) fahrbar
http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... _24kw.html

check this site for more stuff (gibt'S auch in deutsch hier der link dazu)

Greetings!

Thank you for responding.

I also thought that the Maschinensatz 220 & 380 V (Drehstrom), etwa 30 kVA als Anhänger (1 achs.) fahrbar could be it, but it is not shown as being a diesel variant, which were rare in the German Army in WWII. Frankly, I don't know enough about electricity to know whether this designation/description fits the one I am looking for.

Cheers
