Museums with a Ford v3000s

#1

Post by FordV3000s » 18 Mar 2014, 05:28

Hello,
I'm restoring a Ford V3000s and I'm looking for museum examples. I have searched this forum without success so I hope that someone will be able to help me out.
I think the Bundeswehr Military History Museum in Dresden might have one can anyone confirm that (I have emailed the museum directly 3 times without a response).
Kind regards,
Jason

Thanks Oliver,
I'll add that one to my list but there is something odd about the cabin and cargo bed. It seems there are dozens of Maultiers in Museums but very few trucks and I really need to find a truck.
Kind regards,
Jason

Hi Jason,

I have no idea how "right" this Maultier is, but it was in the Auot 44 Museum at Falaise for many years previously, and was always claimed to be the Maultier that was abandoned alongside the Falaise town road sign in August 44.

Maybe someone can post this photograph here for comparison, its been quite widely published over the years.
