Hello! I hope you'll find this interesting: a few shots from Russian Kubinka Tank Museum, where group of tanks is being prepared for the "Battlefield" military reconstruction festival ("Pole Boya") which will take place in July.

Bovington tank museum:- it has the only genuine working Tiger captured on the orders of Churchill in Africa.

A couple of people have slated Bovington for the tanks looking to new, some people just love to moan.

Hi,

not a museum, but very nice I think: maybe a replica of a Schupo Sonderwagen in the Babelsberg Filmstudio in Potsdam/Berlin.

Did anybody knows, in which Film you can see this car ??

Kubinka, near Moscow.

As with many such museums, the collection is derived from examples captured and then brought to a central location, usually a central training, development and evaluation depot.

Kubinka has many unique exhibits, and here I am exhibiting the Honved (Hungarian Army) collection which I believe is utterly unique - it even includes a CV 3/35, modified with a square commanders cupola, albeit displayed with, and painted as a vehicle in Italian service. I would rather look through a surprising paint job than not see the vehicle!

Try the Forsvarets Museer (Armed Forces Museum), Oslo - they've only got a Pzkpfw 1 A, but it is nice - note the MG 13s

Hi,
Does anybody know are there any axis (and allied WW2) vehicles currently on display at Bundeswehr Museum in Dresden? I've heard some of them were there (Pz.IV, Sherman, Comet) but were moved away elswhere.
Cheers,
Pawel

Hi again,
Noone has been in Dresden lately? I plan to be there in two weeks, but I wouldn't like to go for nothing.
Cheers,
Pawel

Does anyone know what the status of the collection at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds is? Last time I looked it said the museum is closed but I'm more curious whether the grounds are open so you can look at the tanks and artillery on display there.

Thanks.

Paul
