Re: Photothread: Soft Skin Vehicle Photo Repository
Hi Raul:
Yes, a Ford.
It is either a G 78A, built from 1937 to 1938 or a G 81A, built from 1938 to 1941. Without being able to see the front grille it is difficult to determine which one is yours. In any case, the rear wheel covers would indicate a "Spezial" model, an upscale variant.

Re: Photothread: Soft Skin Vehicle Photo Repository
It is barely visible indeed, but if this is really a wide bonnet as I've seen it the vehicle is Bedford MW 15cwt with standard wooden 15cwt GS body.
The lack of spare wheel also suggest runflat tyres.

Cheers!

Hello Bill ; I think you're right, because I did not find it as a German vehicle. Thank you very much . Cheers. Raúl M .

I'd call it as a '37 Plymouth based on the simpler bonnet trim detail but they are virtually identical (except for the grille) in any case!
On a personal note, the '37 Plymouth was my Dad's first car which he bought in the early 1950's. My younger brother and I spent a lot of time rough-housing in that mohair back seat.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Raul/Max:
I think you are correct, Max, the little marks on the side of the chrome strip on the Dodge do not seem to be on Raul's photo and I just missed that.
As a point of interest, my first car was a 1937 Chevrolet 4 door sedan and my second one was a 1938 Oldsmobile coupe, both with mohair upholstery.
I really miss that fabric.
