Hi, Nacho

This well know picture of Schwimmwagen belongs to 9.SS of course !
Your source is probably "Hohenstauffen. 9.SS - HEIMDAL"

1...Find here a vehicle captured by British or canadian troop in Rocquancourt (Normandy - goodwood sector) the 11th august 1944 - internet source

2...Other captured with "bull?" pennants marking - internet source

The "bull" may be the divisional insignia from the 11th Armoured Division

commander in Normandy : Major General George Philip Bradley "Pip" ROBERTS I think

• 29th Armoured Brigade
o 23rd Hussars
o 3rd Royal Tank Regiment
o 2nd Fife and Forfar Yeomanry
o 8th Battalion The Rifle Brigade

• 159th Infantry Brigade
o 4th Battalion King’s Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI)
o 3rd Monmouthshire Regiment (Mons)
o 1st Battalion Herefordshire Regiment

• Armored regiment
o 2nd Northampshire Yeomanry

• Divisional Troops
o Divisional Artillery
o Divisional Engineers
o 2nd MG Company Royal Northumberland Fusiliers

Regards,

David

Nacho,

The long bar is for putting down and pulling up the propellor, this could only be done manually as seen on your pictures. The bar was stored on the mufler in 2 small clamps.
