Re: hm
Indeed, it seems the webmaster simply keeps an eye on ebay and several forums, including AHF. The detail from the "Mook" pic is exactly the detail that was shown on ebay when the pic was for sale. "Interesting" way to build an archive. Steve, you are right, he shows dozens of pics from your collection. Gunter G. Gillot Jr and "Foxmaster Publishing Belgium". Are they forum members?stoveb wrote:hmmmm,
Nice to see where a lot of my credited scans have turned up uncredited.... that's the internet for you.
Cheers

Hallo Bayerlein spirit,
I´m a new member of the forum and so I discovered Your pics too. I think, on the first of Your pics there is a Mercedes Benz type 290, on the second pic you can see a Mercedes benz L 1500 A, and on the third pic it´s a Horch 830 R Kübel. What do You think about it?
Regards
Bert

SS-M-xxxxxxx registration number
It is very likely that the M is the first initial of one of the countries occupied by the Third Reich, there is a photo of a Luftwaffe truck that has WL-n-xxxxxx, which is given as Luftwaffe, Norway.
So which occupied country of the Third |Reich period begins with M ??

Hello
Some time ago i contacted him about a photo taken from this forum, and posted on his website. As it was my picture i just wanted to know why it had ended up there, and why it was offered for use if interested. I was supposed to ask him first if i was going to use it in a publication. The last thing i tought was funny as it was my picture. I had did as i do with all B/W pictures i post or send around, i remove a detail. In this case it was a picture of two soldiers, and i had removed one of them before posting it here. To make it short, he did try to explain how he had got it, and it was no problem to have it removed. As i understood back then he also get photos sendt from others in addition to his own collection so its not certain that its him saving the goodies for his website.
regards

I hope you guys dont mind me comenting that site. The owner of that site is member of this forum.I think we just need to leave it alone. Enough problems of this sort and it doesn't seem to make too many people angry.
