An incredibly interesting and exhaustive entry on the DAF M39 may be found in Wikipedia:

Re: Info about the DAF M39 ???
This information at Wikepedea is a summary of my book Bom, J.A., 2008, DAF-Pantserwagens voor de Regimenten Huzaren — ontwikkeling, aanschaffing, inzet, Cavaleriemuseum, Amersfoort pp. 168, that is still available at the shop of the Dutch Cavalry Museum at Amersfoort
Re: Info about the DAF M39 ???
So it must be an excellent book. I wish I could speak Dutch...
By the way what interests me much is how the post-war version may have looked like. It would be really interesting to know if any of its drawing survived last 60 years. Another question, in the Wikipedia article there is a remark on the projected structure of the reconnaissance units and demand for new armoured cars, 154 (if my memory serves me well) vehicles for six squadrons and two regiments. Do you know more on how the units were to be organised?
Best regards,
Piotr

Re: Info about the DAF M39 ???
Hello Piotr
The postwar version of the DAF armoured car was supposed to be the same as the prewar version with the following exeptions:
- all-wheel drive instead of solely rear-wheel drive
- motor and transmission of a make (Ford or GMC) and type already used by postwar Dutch army
- a 3,7 cm gun of British or American make (of same type as used in Humber IV and Staghound armoured cars already in Dutch use) instead of 3,7 cm Bofors gun
- 3 machineguns 7,9 mm, preferably of Belgian make (FN Herstal produced the Browning .30 in license) instead of machineguns M. 20 (Lewis)
- installation of smoke discharger
- installation of radio equipment; in 1940 radio equipment for all Dutch armoured cars had been ordered and planning for the installation had been made; however these plans could not be realized.
As for the 6 armoured car squadrons operating in the NEI; Besides staff and supporting units they each consisted of 5 armoured car platoons.
Each reconnaissance regiment operating in the NEI consisted of a staff and supporting units and 3 reconnaissace squadrons. Each squadron consisted of a staff recce section and a carrier section.
Greetings,
John
