Re: Vehicle identity requests
Probably Munitionspanzer III or IV (?) loaded with ammo for Tigers I of s.Pz.Abt.505 near Velikiye Luki (Russian: Вели́кие Лу́ки), Russia, October 1943. Photo is captioned "neue Munition, bei Weliki Leki, Russland, Oktober 1943". Source: s.Pz.Abt.505 album on Picasa.
I'm not sure about ID of this vehicle but I find this photo very interesting due to rare shot of internal look of cover and interior of such vehicles.

Hi Piotr,
The spare road wheel suggests a III.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Thanks. It could be Panzer III Ausf.M/N with removed turret - such vehicles were available for s.Pz.Abt.

Ammo for Panzerbefehlswagen based on Panzer III? IIRC these were used quite long. Unfortunately I can't find list of equipment.Alanmccoubrey wrote:What after the unit removed the turrets to make the Munitsionspanzer and the Pionierpanzer after going "All Tiger"?

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm/Andrej:
It should be a Saurer model 2 BH according to W Spielberger's book on Austrian vehicles.
Cheers
